It's Bead Trends time again.

Bead Trends July 2012-

It's hard to believe that a whole year has flown by since last July when I celebrated my big birthday and was the featured Designer Highlight, last July 2011. That experience changed my year as I prepared for that month. It was a thrill and I give a special thanks to Tatia and the staff at Bead Trends. They work hard to produce such a beautiful table top magazine.

Each month I design special pieces and feel honored to be a part of it all.

I would love a loser look at this necklace on the cover this month. It is beautiful. Congratulations to for the cover goes to Keirsten Giles, "Tuscan Springs". lunestudio.com Check out her blog. Beautiful!!

Swept by the Sea July 2012

This month my necklace features a gorgeous stoneware focal by Lisa at Clayworks www.clayworksnh.etsy.com. I wanted a design that felt like it had been swept in from the sea so I handtied silk cording and Vintaj Chain. I added a couple polymer beads I made, Czech glass beads, beach stones, enameled starfish, patina sand dollar, and an interesting handmade polymer clasp by Claire at stillpointworks.etsy.com. This clasp was included in my wonderful package of goodies from the Bead Soup Blog Swap last fall. It really works with this design to complete the swept in look I was going for. This is a great summer boho necklace and it is available
 in my shop at https://www.etsy.com/listing/103433648/swept-by-the-sea-bohemian-hand-tied

It is getting harder to be sure not to miss anyone. Please pick up a copy so you can see it all. Thank you for stopping by. Please check out these designers and you can find my published designs in my special section in my Etsy shop. This is a popular section and many of my published designs sell soon after the magazine comes out. Please leave a message as I love to hear from you.
