Michael and I have traveled from California to Tennessee this week to participate in a holiday art show to benefit the Hospice of Chattanooga, at the Chattanooga Convention Center. "Morning Dew"
This iris has a family history. It used to grow nestled in large mounds of colors along with our 38 roses in our cottage garden in California. We dug up some bulbs a few years back and Mikes sister Deb, lovingly carried them home and planted them is her garden in Knoxville, Tennessee. We were visiting here in Tennessee spring of 2010 when the iris's showed their amazing spring bloom. Mike went to work with several cuttings and "Morning Dew is one of a series he created.

My necklace titled "Give Yourself Time" was created as my contribution to the silent auction for the Hospice of Chattanooga. This necklace is a four strand design in muted mauves and taupes features Pietersite stone, boro glass by Seashore Glass, Czech glass, fresh water pearls and Shibuichi findings. The focal by Miss Erin of Tresori Trovati is very special with a beautiful inspirational message on the back.
