As seen in Bead Trends August 2011

August Bead Trends, I am once again excited to share my work with along with my friends in this issue.

Blue Skies page 78-81
This necklace and earrings are full of designer components. Ceramic beads and amazing clasp by my friend Gaea. Focal by Sandhra Lee and Boro bead by Amanda of Seashore Glass. I also feature beads from my favorite bead shop Beads on Main in Vacaville. This is a very cool casual necklace with Vintaj brass and hand-washed silk ribbon. The earrings are super cool too.

These earrings were submitted to the July issue with my Designer Highlight and coordinate with the Blue  Lagoon necklace in the July issue. After they filled all the pages in the highlight I was thrilled when they asked if they could include them in this issue instead. They are light and sassy.

I will be listing all of my designs from the July and August issues in my shop after my trunk show this weekend. My bead shop is honoring my success in Bead Trends by holding a trunk show for me.

Congratulations to several of my friends with their designs in this issue including, Kristy Abner, Janice Everett,  Erin Strother and Denise Yezbak-Moore. Also a special congratulations to Marie Noel Voyer-Cramp for being featured on the cover. That is an honor I strive for.

A special congratulations to Amanda Austin once again for being featured as the Designer Highlight this month. This is an amazing feeling to be chosen for this honor and her work is amazing. Check it out on page 47-55.

This is an issue you won't want to miss. Bead Trends August, 2011.

  1. Congratulations Cherrie! It feels so good to be seeing your work in the pages of a magazine, doesn't it? I love Bead Trends. They gave me my start in being published! I think that it is a wonderful magazine. I don't have the last few issues, but I am now inspired to pick them up, maybe in digital form!
    Enjoy the day!

  2. Congratulations on your feature! What a great feeling it must be!

I love Bead Trends, but can't always justify the cost of the book. Maybe digital is the way to go, but really I love flipping the glossy pages...

I'll be on the lookout for the August issue to hit the stands.

  5. Thanks ladies, I have found it is not that expensive to get a copy of the magazine once they are published. The subscription is not too bad if you want it on time when it is released. Check out Bead Trends subscriptions on line.
