Beach time with Znet Shows

I am excited to be included as one of a team of designers who works with Znet Shows. Several times this year I have found a beautiful collection of beads including cultured sea glass, glass pearls, chinese crystals and stone.

Last month I received a generous package of new cultured sea glass in the shapes of baby conch shells and baby shells. I was late to the party with show prep and all that goes with it. Bill was very understanding and suggested I design when I would have a bit of time to create something fun.

This week I sat down with a mission. This is the assortment I had received to inspire me.................

Just a few of my designs including anklets, bracelets and a necklace.

Where do I begin? I wanted to design some new anklets for my summer customers and so that is where I began. The sea glass shells look really pretty with the Czech glass.

Then I decided to step it up a few notches and designed a couple art bead bracelets.....

This pink shell is coordinated with lamp work glass from Sea Shore Glass and a enameled shell by  Gardanne Beads. Czech glass pastels, Vintaj Brass and the results a very feminine art bead bracelet is one of my favorites.

I had just picked up the Czech glass rondells in this color assortment and it works well with the green shell and glass lamp work drops, and a green patina sand dollar from my stash.

True Blue Shells wire wrapped and I added a little crab charm from a previous Znet challenge in January. The copper circle pieces came from a chain I got years ago and just found some scraps. I like the texture it added.

I love the lavender, and pink shells with the lamp work glass by Havana Beads. The pastel flat one I picked up at a show and with shuffling beads in my stash, I can't remember the artist.
You can't see it this picture but the copper shell charm chain adds a perfect contrast with a couple amazing Czech glass, some of my favorites.

This necklace features two conch shells in a pretty green. I also added a cobalt blue sea glass from a  Znet purchase. I love this shape and have added it to several of my designs. I added Lamp work by Bubby and McGurk and also a large boro by Sea Shore Glass.

Last just a cute pair of earrings. These will be perfect with the beach going gal.
You can find all of these pieces in my Etsy shop along with other "beach glass beads" jewelry featuring
Znet Shows beads. Please check out Znet Shows at the following links and see more designs
from the team.

Don't miss my blog post coming soon. A new design challenge on July 6th. Znet paired us up in teams and we each choose 7 items for our partner to design with.
The theme is beach, my favorite subject and we will show you what we designed.

I love to hear your comments on my designs and please don't forget to check my shop for all of these designs available now. www.enlalumiere.etsy.com

  3. Gorgeous, and I second Lisa. My two favorites are the bracelets with the pinks which rather surprises me because I am all greens and blues. The second bracelet, the lampwork bead you cannot remember the name of the artist, reminds me a lot of the purple lampwork bead in the bracelet I purchased from you. And it is a beautiful bead to add to this mix. What a wonderful job you did Cherrie. Worth the wait.
