Welcome to the 3rd Bead Soup Blog Party!
What is a Bead Soup Blog Party?

Each beader was paired up with another jewelry designer and tasked with sending the following:

~ A focal
~ A special clasp (not just a lobster claw)
~ Some coordinating spacers or beads

My bead soup partner was Raida from Havana Beads

Using the focal and the clasp was mandatory, but we could use anything from our own stash to round out the rest, and choose to use the coordinating beads or not.

Here's what I made!

My bead soup partner Raida from Havana Beads gave me a yummy collection of her lamp work beads, lamp work headpins and glass drops to work with. I created this piece with the main focal showcasing her beads. I wire wrapped the focal and made a charm dangle with her lamp work beads in a loose wire wrap along with grey blue Iolite gemstone. I added gorgeous Lapis rounds, the amber with a hint of blue glass drops, her ivory and grey lamp work, more Iolite, some amber czech beads and a shell bead by Lynda's bead Dreams on Etsy. I accented the entire necklace with gunmetal chain, sterling in bright and patina, and copper accents. I enjoyed my challenge and would love to work with Raida's beads anytime.
